Remotely assessed Performance Grades
Alternatively, ABRSM continue to offer their new Digital Performance Grades and further information can be found on their website via the link below.

Please note, when applying for these exams online via ABRSM, RMT does not have access to individual candidate numbers. If you have not sat an exam before, you will not have a candidate number. If you have previously sat an exam, your candidate number can be found on your mark sheet which was sent with your certificate.
The application process (F2F exams)
- Teachers will provide RMT with a list of pupils who are ready to take their exam.
- RMT will email parent to confirm with a link to the online application form.
- Parent/Carers must submit the application and make payment by the specified deadline.
- RMT submits the exam entry to ABRSM.
- RMT draws up the exam timetable and dates/times are sent directly to pupils.
Autumn Term 2024 Dates
Entry deadline: 5pm on Monday 4th November 2024 (late entries will not be accepted)
Additional run through dates: Sunday 17th November or Sunday 24th November 2024
Exam date: Wednesday 11th December – Friday 13th December 2024
Accompanists
All exams, with the exception of guitar and piano, will require an accompanist. Please ensure you select this option when entering unless you would prefer to provide your own accompanist, in which case please let us know.
To provide additional support for your child as their exam approaches, we also organise the opportunity for a pre-exam run-through with our accompanist. This will give pupils the chance to become more familiar with performing their pieces with the piano and can be particularly important for those who are unable to play with the piano during their lessons. This option can be selected on the application form.
