Caroline Peirson

Caroline was appointed Chief Executive of RMT in June 2020 having amassed a wealth of knowledge and experience in music education and organisational management during many years working for RMT, including as Deputy CEO.

Involved in music from a young age and achieving a music scholarship to LEH, she remains a keen musician today. Caroline graduated from Warwick University with a BA Hons degree in History of Art before returning to the Borough of Richmond where she grew up.

With experience of working in primary schools and a strong belief in the importance of music education, Caroline joined the Trust in 2003 and over the years has developed a unique understanding of all aspects of the organisation. She is delighted to be in a position to take the Trust forward, continuing to maintain and develop the widest possible access to high quality music provision in and around the Borough.
