This is a fantastic opportunity for students to build on their existing recorder skills whilst exploring new styles of music and the fun challenges of playing together in a group. The ensemble will help recorder players to get the most out of their playing, and develop their all-round musicianship. As a new ensemble, we will be looking to grow the group with its players, developing to include recorders of multiple sizes, over the coming years.
The RMT Recorder Ensemble is open to players in Year 4 and above, and those with a playing range of one octave (D-D). Players who are further on in their learning will be suitably challenged and catered for.
