Richmond Music Trust is a registered charity established in 1994 to support music education across Richmond upon Thames. We are dedicated to widening participation in music and believe that every child deserves the opportunity to access high quality inspirational musical experiences in schools and the community.

Music Therapy
Music therapy helps us to express feelings when words may be challenging or absent. It can enable individuals to feel more confident in how they relate to others and the world around them. Music is a powerful medium for expression that touches us deeply. Making music with other people can be a profoundly moving experience, building relationships and enhancing an individual’s sense of identity, connection and belonging.

Singing Together
Singing Together is an inclusive online community group for older people. We explore a variety of uplifting songs with the aim of making participants feel good, whilst creating a sense of community. The sessions are a chance to meet others whilst trying something new and it’s great for mental health. Everyone is welcome, the sessions are free of charge, and no experience is needed. This group is dementia friendly and carers are welcome to attend.
As our initial funding has now ended, we are keen to raise funds to ensure current members can continue to participate in a weekly event that has become an important part of their lives, and enable the team to promote this activity to others who will gain the huge benefits of taking part.
