Andrew Caink

Andrew studied English Language and Literature at Oxford University and later Linguistics at Durham University. He also trained as a secondary school teacher at Bristol University and taught in schools in Bulgaria and Finland before lecturing in linguistics at the University of Westminster since 2003. These years were always accompanied by his enthusiasm for music, at various times playing sax in bands and a jazz duo, singing songs with guitar and developing his love of Bach and jazz on the piano. More recently he enjoys jamming with his young son who is an enthusiastic drummer and keyboard player. He is currently training in music therapy at the University of West of England.
