Cathal is a north London-based music therapist from Co. Carlow, Ireland. He graduated with a Master of Arts in Music Therapy from the University of Limerick, following his undergraduate studies at NUI Maynooth, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Geography, majoring in classical singing. Most recently, Cathal completed his NMT training with the Academy of Neurologic Music Therapy.

Throughout his clinical training and placements, Cathal gained extensive experience in rehabilitative, neurologic and acute paediatric care, working with individuals across a range of settings to support their emotional, cognitive and physical well-being through music. Since graduating, he has worked with children with ASD, using music therapy to support their communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation needs. He is passionate about harnessing the therapeutic potential of music to empower individuals and enhance their quality of life.
